If there was a medal for cuteness at the Rio 2016 Olympics, US hurdler, Nia Ali's 15-month old son, Titus, would have bagged it for sure. The toddler ran on the field to hug his mother after she won the won the silver for the women's 100-meter hurdle. He even made an attempt at dashing down the tracks egged on by his gorgeous mom. Many were not aware that the 27-year old Nia Ali, a Philadelphia native, had a son.
Sports didn't deter Nia from playing the role of a perfect mom. "Titus comes to the track with me (at Philly). I coach long jump and he will try to do the drills with the runners" said  Nia. In this, she got splendid support from 400-meter hurdler husband, Michael Tinsley, who flies down regularly from his training base at Texas to spend time with mother and son.
Speaking about Tinsley, she says "He is awesome and is obsessive about Titus. Everyone talks about us having this super baby of athletic talent. We may be exhausted from the training, but we both want to be the best parents possible" Nia also stated that her success couldn't have been complete without the help of her coach, Ryan Wilson and  training partner, Monica Hargrove and about the cute little Titus, the doting mother adds “It helps that Titus is a good baby. He’s very easy-going and mellow".
